What is the Standby Rate?
We have a special Standby Rate for certain shows that is available up to 24 hours in advance of a performance.
The usual Standby Rate is:
- Auditorium productions – best available seats at the lowest available price
- Patrick Studio productions – £10 per person
Who is eligible for the Standby Rate?
The Standby Rate can be redeemed by:
Full-time students |
Birmingham residents who hold a Passport to Leisure Card |
Birmingham residents who live in postcodes B6, B9, B10, B11 and B21. Find out more about our On the Day Postcode Scheme here. |
To redeem the Standby Rate, phone 0121 689 3000 or pop in to the theatre up to 24 hours ahead of the performance.
Terms and Conditions
- You will need to show your NUS card (with photo and expiry date), Passport to Leisure card (with expiry date), or proof of residence to demonstrate that you live in a B6, B9, B10, B11 or B21 postcode when you collect your tickets. For proof of residence, we accept a driving licence or utility bill dated within the last 3 months.
- Each person can buy up to two tickets at the standby rate.
