Friends’ Scheme Terms and Conditions

1. Standard Friend ticket discounts are as follows:  Opening Night Offers – offers can vary but include 2-for-1 ticket deals or £10 off tickets, Mid-week evening and matinee offers – £5 off price band A+/A and £6 off price band B-D, great offers in our Patrick Studio – offers can vary but include  2-for-1 or a ticket discount.  These discounts are not valid on Birmingham Royal Ballet (BRB) or Welsh National Opera (WNO) productions or occasional external productions / performances at the discretion of the show producer.  Both BRB and WNO have their own Friends schemes, check their websites for details. 2. Friend’s ticket discounts apply to members’ tickets only, and are subject to availability and cannot be combined with any other offers, discounts, concessions or tickets already purchased
3. Joint membership is for two adults living at the same address (one mailing per household) and allows up to two discounted tickets
4. Family membership is for four people and must include at least 1 adult (one mailing per household) and allows up to four discounted tickets
5. Membership cards and associated details are not transferable and can only be used by the named cardholder to book tickets or apply discounts available in The Circle Lounge, The Coffee Bar, Bars & Kiosks.
6. Friends receive 15% off at The Circle Lounge, The Coffee Bar on Level 2 and all bars and kiosks. Please ensure that you have your card with you to show when you visit; this validates your discount. If you find that you do not have an up to date card or you have misplaced your card please contact us and we will provide a replacement.
7. Some of our special events are free for Friends to attend.  For other events Friends may be able to take advantage of a priority booking period or a discounted event price – additional charges will apply
8. All event invitations – for free and paid for events – will be sent via email.  Where event numbers are limited or high demand is anticipated, tickets are restricted to 1 for Single Friends, 2 for Joint and 4 for Family Friends, subject to availability.
9. Friends’ names and contact details will be stored on a database so that we can send you information and offers relating to Birmingham Hippodrome which may include additional fundraising activities. Whenever possible, by agreement with producers, new show announcements will always be emailed to Friends in advance of the general public. Your data will be processed and stored in line with the General Data Protection Regulations (2016).    You can view our privacy policy here.
10. Birmingham Hippodrome reserves the right to refuse or terminate membership at any time
