Birmingham Hippodrome NEEDS YOU to enlist for FREE tickets to a talk on what the theatre did during World War One.
To mark the centenary of the end of “the war to end all wars” in November, Ivan Heard, one of our Hippodrome Heritage Volunteers will be discussing the Hippodrome’s war effort during World War One.
“Pack Up Your Troubles in Your Old Kit Bag” and come along and hear about who was entertaining the Home Front, who was packing the theatre with protesting female Munitions Workers, and what could you do with your surplus fruit and veg?
It might be a “Long Way to Tipperary” but it’s only a short hop to the Ticket Sales desk, so head there now or book online to avoid disappointment.
This hour long talk takes place at 12.30pm before the matinée performance of War Horse in the PwC Suite.
Max four tickets per person.
