We are very excited to announce our first Education Conference on Monday 31 March.
The day will provide an opportunity for teachers to engage with the wider sector and award-winning companies, enhance skills and knowledge, provide strategies and take inspiration back to the classroom. The format will comprise of keynotes, workshops, a Q&A session and plenty of time to network and connect with others in the sector.
We are proud to announce that the companies taking part in this years education conference will be The Paper Birds, Geese Theatre Company and Highly Sprung.
The Paper Birds
The Paper Birds are a devising theatre company, recognised as UK leaders in devised verbatim theatre. Collecting stories, spending time in communities, listening to personal experiences, their work provides a space to amplify the voices of everyday people, inspiring change through the theatre they create. Geese Theatre Company
Geese Theatre Company use theatre and drama to enable choice, personal responsibility and change, amongst individuals. Their work in education is for staff working with young people who present as difficult to engage, using masks and how they are used as coping strategies and defence mechanisms. Highly Sprung create inspiring performances and experiences using physical theatre, enabling better futures for children and young people.
