ZooNation’s smash-hit sensation Some Like it Hip Hop thrilled audiences and critics when it opened in 2011, prompting an Olivier Award nomination, five-star reviews and standing ovations with its infectious “wit, heart and magnificent energy” (The Independent).
With a nod to Billy Wilder’s Some Like It Hot and Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, it tells a comical tale of love, mistaken identity, cross-dressing and revolution, as two women take on a male-dominated world by disguising themselves as men.
Written and directed by Sadler’s Wells Associate Artist Kate Prince with original music by DJ Walde and Josh Cohen.
